Does anyone know of an organization that makes baby blankets or quilts for charity?  I have a lot of pieces of minkee to donate.

Our club makes pillowcases to cover the pads for babies in the intensive care unit at our hospital. We would love some minkee to continue to make for them.

Our organization makes quilts, laprobes, and walker bags and would gratefully accept any donated fabric.

    Hi Kristin,
I wonder if these guys could use your Minkee?

They send quilts to children in need of comfort…and share their heartwarming stories on their site.

I would say Project Linus too. They make blankets for kids at local hospitals.

That’s a wonderful idea. There’s a great list of groups like that here: https://www.nancysnotions.com/NNVia/CustomPages/bkresourcelisting.htm

Smaller than blanket size they could use for the comforts though!

I am not an organization, but our church does a lot of comforts and clothes sorting/packing to send to Romania. (through Christian Aid Ministries) I’d love to make baby blankets to send. I don’t quilt though, so I couldn’t use anything smaller than blanket size.

Project Linus oftentimes accepts fabric donations through their local chapters. http://www.projectlinus.org.
