We just had to add these to our Readers’ Favorite Sewing Tutorials! Have you already checked out Readers’ Favorite Sewing Tutorials Part 1 and Readers’ Favorite Sewing Tutorials Part 2? Do you have another tutorial for us to include?

Little Owls

Little Owls

Alex from MOONSTITCHES provided this wonderful “Tutowlrial” so her readers could make some darling owls of their own. The original pattern was from a Japanese craft book but Alex has made it her own through adaptations and shared her process with us. Try one yourself and thank her over at MOONSTITCHES (while youe’re there you might get lost in her beautiful pictures of her everyday life in Japan).

Barbara Brandeburg is the author of twenty quilt books and she is also a fabric designer. Though shee’s currently busy with a new line of patterns and a new book for That Patchwork Place, she kindly shares her expertise with you in her Easy Applique Tutorial! Take a look at her blog for quilting, sewing and design inspiration.

Blaire’s creations on her Wise Craft site provide inspiration for many crafty bloggers. She started a craze awhile back with her Fabric Flowers Tutorial (women in small villages in India are now making them out of silk!). Create your own beautiful fabric flowers and then stop by the Fabric Flowers Flickr group Blair started to post your own creation.
