The Skirt Month Sew-Along is gaining momentum! Of course you knew this would happen with all of the neat pattern reviews, tutorials and other resources here in May. There are lots of lovely new skirts out there and it’s fun to see all of the skirts added to the Skirt Month Sew-Along Flickr Pool. While some of us are still working on our skirts, Kim, Malka and Nancy have already shared these beauties:

FFkkskirt
Skirt by Kim, Kim Kelly Kreations
Kim’s skirt was made with the help of this wonderful Twirly Skirt tutorial from House on Hill Road. For more of Kim’s creations visit her Flickr site and her Kim Kelly Kreations Etsy shop.

FFmalkaskirt
Skirt by Malka, A Stitch in Dye
Malka drafted the pattern for her skirt with the help of Sew What! Skirts. Malka’s a fiber-related artist with an extensive website. Take a look at some of her quilts and look for more of her work on Flickr.

FFdorothyskirt
Skirt by Nancy, Belle Epoque
Nancy’s skirt is her design (part of her Summer Picnic mini-collection) with an embroidered vintage hankie pocket. Find more of Nancy’s work on Flickr, her Belle Epoque blog and her Etsy shop.

I LOVE the red gingham with the hankie! Went to your shop only to let out a big sigh that there wasn’t one big enough for me. Drats. Well, you’ve inspired me for sure.
