From Beth: Jessica’s got a fun blog, Jump Up and Down (and a giveaway until Tuesday so hop on over!), and sells items she’s sewn in her Etsy shop under the same name (check out her pleated bags). She has a rich history of craft and creativity in her family. Jessica’s Betsy Ross All For One Shoulder Bag is fantastic, and she gives great tips to make the pattern work well. Check out Jessica’s intro below, then her All For One pattern review too.

From Jessica: I am a mama to two fun little guys who keep me on my toes. When I’m not on my toes, I’m sitting down at my sewing machine. I come from a long line of sewers and crafters– my childhood bed was covered by a quilt from my great-grandmother, I spent my childhood afternoons in my grandma’s sewing room looking at her fabrics and trims and dreaming, and my mom is my lifeline for all questions sewing related. I love all trims, especially ric rac. I have recently developed a love for making things with vintage linens. I love making all sorts of different things and I’ve at least tried to make almost anything you can think of– I’m not afraid of zippers or buttonholes, but I have been known to avoid them. At the beginning of this year I stumbled upon the world of crafting and sewing blogs and knew I had found my niche and must become a part of this fun little world. So, I started my blog, Jump Up and Down, and an Etsy shop under the same name shortly thereafter. I have been enjoying seeing inspiration and creativity on everyone else’s blogs since then and making friends with so many of you!
