From Beth: In the midst of packing for a family move to Beijing, Christie whipped up a darling pair of Jackie Clark Baby Overalls for her daughter and a fantastic pattern review for us all. Christie shares her life and craft on her blog pigeon pair and Flickr too (look at her darling Alexander Henry smock from the pattern in Amy Karol’s book). Read all about Christie, then read all about baby overalls too.

Hello, my name is Christie & I am a Melbourne (Australia) girl who is a wife, mother of two, a blogger & an avid maker of things. In my spare (ha!) time I love to sew & I find inspiration from other creative women out there on the net & in particular from my mother who is a whiz on the sewing machine. I enjoy giving old fabric/clothes a new life & sourcing both new & vintage fabric & patterns. I sew anything & everything including quilts, clothes, softies & bags. I dream of one day having a whole room just for my sewing paraphernalia & children who will stay still long enough to try on the clothes I lovingly make for them! For more of my family’s misadventures check out my blog, pigeon pair.
