Introduction ~ Mary

From Beth: Mary has a great eye for everything from fabric combinations to photography. As she mentions below Mary dabbles in a little of everything! It’s such fun to check out everything from her Flickr site to the tutus she sews. Mary wrote a great pattern review for the popular Britches & Bloomers pattern. Enjoy her introduction below, the review and Mary’s blog, Confessions of a Craft Addict.

From Mary: You know that girlfriend who has to try every crafty thing at least once, usually investing tons of money in supplies and books before moving on to the next big thing? Yeah, I’m her. Lucky for me that I’ve been married to an incredibly tolerant and sweet man for the past ten years. When I’m not rationalizing my latest crafty purchases to him, I’m at the mercy of our three kids (ages 16, 14 and almost 3). My copious amounts of free time are filled with the occasional freelance writing assignment (I’ve been a journalist for seventeen years), doing PR and other tasks for my musician sister-in-law, volunteer work with my Junior League and making tutus (www.flourishes.com), plus sewing custom items for an Atlanta-area kids’ boutique. (Just pretend you don’t see the mess that is my house should you stop by without calling first!) I write about all my crafty adventures on my blog, Confessions of a Craft Addict.
