From hand painted fabric (see below) and princess crowns with capes to felted handbags and cut paper silhouettes, Fanny makes some amazing items for many swaps and gifts. Browse through Fanny’s Flickr site to enjoy her sewing too (like these cute little skirts for her daughter, lovely quilt squares and more!).

Hand Painted Fabric for a Swap

Fanny entered a picture in the Sew, Mama, Sew! general photo pool and was randomly selected to win a $25 gift certificate to Sew, Mama, Sew! for the month of September. We can’t wait to see how Fanny uses her gift certificate (just like we’re eager to see what she makes here!). Enter your work for a chance to win October’s certificate. While you’re there don’t miss our Handmade Halloween group. We want to see what you’re up to as you decorate your home and costume your kids!

Hey, that’s so cool. I’m the one that bought the sari yarn for that scarf. It was part of my Color Swap package to my swap partner (Julie V.) a few years ago.

Congratulations Fanny! I loved all her photos but I especially loved the baguette bag. Great!

Wow, I love that scarf! I’ve got a hat made from sari yarn and it’s got the most amazing texture.
