Today we have coasters, bags, pincushions, embellishments, a fun tutorial… And so much more! Don’t forget to comment anywhere on the blog for your chance to win one of two $25 gift certificates to Sew,Mama,Sew! each Friday!

Colorful Coasters
By Mame, mame*’s photos

We love colorful coasters and Mame’s fit the bill with sweet embellishments and a great selection of fun fabrics. Make some of your own with our For the Table tutorials. They’d be a great gift for anyone on your list (add in a bottle of wine or sparkling cider and they’ll be set!).

Handcrafters’ Holidays Meme
Shari from Always a Child writes about how she loved a handcrafted gift she received as a child and then went on to make similarly treasured gifts for others. Shari likes to make something different to give to loved ones every year. She writes, “I’ve given drawings, oil paintings, acrylic paintings, pottery, crocheting, prayer pillows and all different kinds of crafts.” This year she printed some of her photos, matted them and is giving them away as presents. Enjoy more (including Shari’s Corn Casserole recipe) on her blog.

Kerri has created a great selection of bags to give this holiday season. She used Blair’s tutorial to embellish the bag shown here, and her craft area is full of her sewing plans in progress. Check out Kerri’s bags and more on her blog, Way Out in the Desert.

What are you sewing? Tell us all about it!

By Joanna, Joanna’s Scraps

We’ve shared a good selection of pincushions but we figure you can’t go wrong with these cute, little gifts for any crafty people on your list! Make some of your own with our Pincushion & Pins tutorial selections. Joanna’s been sewing up a creative storm so be sure to check out her great selection of gifts (we especially love her felted wool boxes made with Marianne’s tutorial).

Coffee Cozy
By Suzanne, pink milk and fairycakes

We featured some of Suzanne’s craftiness earlier and thought you’d enjoy her fun Coffee Cozy Tutorial. As Suzanne mentioned, these would be especially great gifts with a coffee card tucked in the cup!
