Call for Pattern Reviewers!

on February 22 | in Etc... | by | with 14 Comments

OK! Thanks for the overwhelming interest! We’re no longer taking names for this round. We’ll have more pattern review opportunities in the near future… Thank you!

We have lots of exciting, new patterns in the Sew,Mama,Sew! shop. We’re looking for a few eager sewists to help us review patterns in March. Pattern reviewers receive a free pattern and our endless thanks, as well as lots of fun traffic to their blog/business/Flickr account/etc. Pattern reviewers commit to providing a comprehensive review, photos of their finished items and a short introduction. If you’re interested please email [email protected] with the following information:

  • Preference for girl’s dress (2T-5), girl’s dress (birth-24 months) or apron.
  • Blog address, Flickr account or any additional, relevant information about your crafty interest/skill.

Thank you! Check out our previous pattern reviews.

I would love to be a pattern reviewer! My preference would be for the girl’s dress (2T – 5), but I’d happily do the other dress or apron if that’s already taken.

What fun! no time. Oh, well.

  6. Shelly says:

I would love to do this…I am a beginner , but willing to give it a go!

  7. Teddi says:

I emailed that I would love to do the girls dress (have a 4T sized gal at home) or the apron. Willing to do just about anything and have the skills and time! Something fun and challenging!

  8. I wouldn’t mind trying something. I have a 1 1/2 yr old granddaughter that I could make something for she is a 3T. I haven’t done any garment sewing for years but, I’d give it a try. I also like to make purses.

  9. Dj says:

I’d love to do an apron. I don’t have any young children but do have enough of them around that I can sew for if you’d rather me do that.

  10. Myra says:

If it’s pretty quick, I can try a birth-24 mos; I am mom to 4, so time is a little limited, but enjoy a challenge.

  11. Amanda says:

Actually, I’m not sure that I can do this… darn! :D I have a flickr site, but no picture’s of what I’ve made ( I have only made pillows, a coin purse, ipod case, and other small things). I have never really made anything big, but I’m sure i could make anything if I put my mind to it! And i could do a good job too! MODIVATION! I may only have a tiny, cheap, $15 sewing machine, but I can make ANYTHING just as well as anyone else! Alright, I’m not sure that I qualify, but I am going to try anyways! :D haha, sorry for that!

  12. Amy says:

Ooooh! I SO wish I weren’t going to be out of town for 3 weeks of March or I would jump at the chance to do this! Darn! Maybe next time….

  13. Kate says:

This looks like so much fun! I don’t have alot of fabric to work with, but I think I’ll have to give this a try! :D

  14. Amanda says:

Who could pass this up! certainly not me.. Thanks YOU sewmamasew!
