BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL!! This is truly a wee wonderful! I would love to make this for someone. Oh, wouldn’t it be wonderful if we all made something like this and sent them to poor children!? They could have something handmade and beautiful, with love in every stitch. To me, that would mean more than any store bought gift! :)

off topic – i once saw a quilt with a pattern they called “robbing peter to pay paul” and loved it but i have never been able to find any info on it. Have you heard or seen this pattern? I’d love to get more information on it so i could make one. I really liked the pattern.

  11. Marcia says:

Hillary’s patterns are great. I’ve made her Olive doll. The hair is simple. She sits up great and is fun to have around. I’d encourage anyone to purchase her pattern and use this new knowledge about quilting to make matching quilts for someone special in their lives. Very fun. Thanks Hillary for all the inspiration.

  34. Susan F. says:

Hillary’s eye for color and creativity is boundless!!! The way she quilted on a zig zag tricks the eye completely. Hillary takes the time to appreciate each fabric, trim and button. Though she is a woman of today she takes time, slows down and enjoys all she doing when she makes one of her creations.

  52. I am such a big fan of WeeWonderfuls. Hillary has such a great touch to her work. Every character always looks like they have something to share. I was thinking about making a doll quilt for my niece with all my leftover pieces. Maybe I’ll hope over to WeeWonderfuls to see how it is done ;) I plan on taking a stab a free motion quilting on the doll quilt since it will be a little more manageable then a full sized quilt. Thanks for sharing this lovely doll and quilt with us.

  53. Beth says:

This is an amazing idea. The doll is so sweet and the quilt is just beautiful. I love how seemingly simple it is, yet know how hard it is to execute. The colors are wonderful as well. Well done (now how can I copy that quilt for my bed???….) Beth

  54. shaz says:

What else does a girl need – her own quilt matching her dress – how charming!!!

  55. Carol says:

That’s neat how the quilting gives the impression of zig zags. I like how the quilts coordinate with the dolls.
