    I love how the colors in the poster go so well with the quilt! This pattern would be great in so many different colors. (Would also be interesting with print fabrics, too.)

    I’ve made it with a pattern called Streak of Lightning…….it’s so easy and looks so great. Especially with a set of coordinated FQs.

    In my mind’s eye I see this pattern used with flowery fabric. The lightening bolts would look like magnificent flower beds.

    This is the pattern my quilt shop uses to teach beginning quilters – they use the pattern out of Eleanor Burns’ book, but she calls it ‘Candy Cane Lane’. I’ve also seen other older quilts called ‘Brick Wall’ or ‘Brick Path’. I think I like Lightning Bolt best tho, LOL. Guess it depends too on the orientation of the rectangles and the colors. Very versatile pattern.
