Handkerchief Corners Quilt |
She continues, “…While I was reading Kaffe Fassett’s Passionate Patchwork, I came up with the idea to do a modified version of his Handkerchief Corners Quilt, spent some time planning it out and then made the quilt.” Rebekah has a post on her don’t call me becky blog with links to show the quilt’s development process, and a schematic for you to follow to make one yourself.

Gorgeous quilt! My favorite of all of quilt month!
I love this use of the Katie jump rope line. the huge blocks in the middle make the surrounding colors pop! nice work!!
This has been soooo much fun. Thank you for doing it! I’ve gotten a ton of inspiration and have been able to try out a lot of new things. I’ve loved seeing all the quilt-of-the day quilts. The choices were excellent. They were all very inspiring without being too intimidating looking. They’ve given me lots of new ideas for ways to put together blocks and backings and use colors. And I’m planning on turning each of my block-along blocks into a mini quilt sandwich to practice my machine quilting. So thanks again for a wonderful month!!
I love this quilt! It has a very warm and inviting look to it. Her stichettes quilt on her website is very cute too!
Lovely! What a wonderful way to end our month of quilting (sob!) so sad to see it come to an end but it’s been so enlightening and inspiring! Thanks so much for all the great ideas, tutorials and Q&A!

Beautiful. I really love these quilts that use a lot of white – but can’t bring myself to make one for around here (maybe when the kids are older. or have left home…)
Just love Katie Jump Rope! They look wonderful together in this quilt.

What a beautiful quilt! Is February really ending?
I love the pattern on this one. Great colors and fun assymmetrical design.
I loved the way she used Katie Junp Rope fabrics with the white squares. It is a “sunny”, warm and cheerful quilt
Beautiful! I love the fabric! Simpley delightful!
This may be one of my favorite quilts I have ever seen. It’s lovely.
Love the quilt and that fabric looks great against the white squares!
Love the colors! Anything with orange and brown is great by me, and I love how the pink complements it.
I also love Katie Jump Rope fabrics! I purchased some a while back and made a lovely round accent pillow for my bed! I think this is my favorite quilt !
Wow, I think this is the best so far! What a great way to end quilting month!
