I found one of your older posts on oilcloth and I am so glad that I did. I remember oilcloth as you mentioned – canvas fabric treated with linseed oil – so I was very confused when I found oilcloth and it looked and felt like vinyl to me. I even asked the owner of the shop and she said that it is true oilcloth, and I told her what I remember and she said no that is something else but she couldn’t remember the name of it and it was treated with wax not oil. Thank you for your post LOL because now I know I am not crazy.
