First, I’d like to thank everyone for the good wishes regarding the baby.  It is wonderful to have a new love in my life.  As soon as I recover from sleep deprivation, you’ll be seeing Poppy in some home-sewn goods.   I’m still learning to type with one hand, so please forgive all the typos!  Thanks so much for all your kind comments and emails.

    I find myself still typing with one hand at times due to my three year old son demanding to sit on my lap while I am working. He is such a wiggly guy I have to keep one hand tight around him so he doesn’t fall off!

I am just about to have my first baby any day now and I am going to try to make her lots of cute little dresses and things 🙂 My mom taught me to sew from an early age and I want to continue the family tradition of sewing baby clothes 🙂 Thanks for all the great ideas!

    I love all of the new fabrics and have a question – are you going to do Remnant Packs again in the store? I wanted to buy one but was too late! I think it’s a great idea to bundle a bunch of fabrics together (especially for new sewers) and help us learn to mix-n-match fabrics.
