Introduction ~ Meg

From Beth: Meg created a great tutorial for a child’s tent to capitalize on our new grommet skills (and to make Summer Sewing even more fun!). Check out her introduction below and then enjoy her tutorial in the next post.

From Meg: Hi, I’m Meg of Boutique NutMeg Designs. I live with my husband and son in Dresden, Ohio. My main focus is on purse making but I love crafts of all kinds. I have been sewing since I was a little girl and started in the purse business when I began staying at home with my son after he was born; now he really enjoys crafting with me! I am completely addicted to fabric and have recently picked up quilting and I am in love! I enjoy scrapbooking and paper crafting as well!

Welcome Meg! I love this blog, and can’t wait to read more of your posts. The teepee is a fun craft! I wish I had the equipment for grommets…I’ve actually found a need for them more than once in the past year, so it’s time to make a tiny investment in my sanity and buy some stuff! Woot…time to shop!!!
