New Amy Butler Fabric

Amy Fabric 

The new Amy Butler line, Daisy Chain, is up on the shop site and available for pre-order now.  This is a quilt-weight collection and is just as beautiful as any of Amy’s groups.  The fabric is en-route, expected to arrive Wednesday.  Any orders placed now will be held until Thursday or Friday of this week.  Just a few of the lovely prints:

Amy Pattern Updates

The thoughtful staff at Amy Butler Design have updated all their patterns that included the discontinued product, Timtex. They’ve tested and edited the patterns and offer the updates on their Pattern Corrections page.

    Thanks for letting us know about the Patterns correction page. I didn’t even know how to get Timtex in Australia anyway, so it’s good to know what will work in it’s place. Hopefully I won’t have as much trouble with the replacement interfacing.

    Aren’t they lovely fabrics? Perfect for my bedroom. Now what should I start with…pillows? blankets? curtains? hmm…..the possibilites!

    What was the deal with Timtex? I missed that memo…

    A lot of the Amy Butler patterns made use of Timtex, a very stiff, heavy interfacing. It was recommended on the supply lists on the back of the patterns. The product has been discontinued, so they had to find a comparable product(s) that could produce the same result.
