Oh wow! I love all of these! They are all great, I want to do them all.. right now hahah. They will all make great Christmas gifts. What a great idea putting this together, thank you for sharing!

I agree about the “handmade for him” comment. My brother loves scarves, so he’s easy, but as far as the other men in my life… just an impersonal dvd box set or something else equally boring.

thanks for all of these…more favourites checked to try later on..:)

I’m in agreement, need some more ideas to make for Christmas, birthdays, etc. We have 9 kids, 9 spouses or SOs, 12 grandkids and 3 great grands. Plus, sisters, nieces/nephews, etc, etc. Have been making tins of cookies for giveaways for years; but really want to sew (and reduce my stash) this year. Besides I already have the sewing “ingredients” for the most part. HELP!!

Oh yes yes yes! I agree with Rane too!!!! I am looking for goodies to make for the
kids and for them to make for each other. I also agree with Tanja! My husband
is the same! What to do for them? It is all about the kiddos though and bringing
it back to them with loads of patterns that are easy would be great! We know that
only you can! Love your blog! I am excited to see what you have this year!

I love having projects lined up for when I finish the current one… There are just too many I am planning to do, and not enough that I actually finish!

Love all of these and I will give some of them a try! My parents had the bed organizer’s fabric on their beds when I was little back in the 70th! Great!

I totally second Rane…also I would love to see you do a “handmade for him” group of tutorials. I’m on the handmade for the holidays kick and have started my whirlwind of creating! However, I’m really not sure what to make for the guys. My husband is about as masculine as you can get, he refuses to wear a scarf or hat or anything that’s been crocheted or knitted. he works on a computer all day…maybe a cushion for his chair?! Ok, I’m off to search for cushion tuts lol!

I Love all of these!!! I would love to see you do a handmade christmas tutorial
because of the economy is so bad~ and china goods are so bad! I want some
tutorials for lots of kids goods, and I want tutorials for kids so I can get my kids
to make the eachother gifts. I guess they have to be easy. I know that this is a
tall order but I have to this year because of budget. And I don’t want the kids
to be disapointed. How do I get them excited about making gifts for everyone
that are not going to fall apart later. And that they can feel proud of.
I have loads of fabric but nothing for other craft goods. How do I make this the
best christmas ever with out money? I have a 12 year old boy a 7 year old girl
3 year old boy and a 11 month old baby. Thanks for all your sewing goodness!!!
I have seen your christmas tutorials from last year…. and I made them all just
about already. New, thanks sooooo much.
Love you site! Look at it daily,
    Rane

I used the quilted patchwork hot pads tutorial as a template for a blog giveaway I had earlier this month. It showed me how to put loops on! Thanks so much.
