We hope you’re snuggling by a warm fire with a mug of cocoa and very few things on your to-do list. Our neighborhoods are blanketed by snow here in the Northwest!

Simply B, Simply Me

B writes, “With a new member of the family this Christmas I needed to get on the ball and make some stockings. The problem is I just didn’t find any that were durable and cute, and none that caught me eye. Durable? Yes, durable. As a kid I wore my stocking around the house, paired with my brother’s that matched. So incase my kids do the same, durable. My great idea came as I was making a blanket for the little man for his Christmas gift and used up scraps I’ve had sitting around for a while.” B has a tutorial for her stockings on her blog.

LucyKate Crafts

Amy writes, “I had a little set of designs for Christmas decorations languishing in my portfolio, one of which, would make a lovely Christmas tutorial, but which one? That was decided with a little poll I held, and with over two thirds of the votes, the robin was the out and out winner. He is rather cute, although he does look like he’s had a little too much Christmas pudding, and is surprisingly easy to make out of a few scraps of fabric and felt!”
