New *Affordable* Shipping Options

on February 8 | in Etc... | by | with 20 Comments

I’m sure that by now you’ve learned that USPS shipping rates went up in January.  We had to make slight adjustments to our Priority rates, but we’re pleased to announce that we also added first class shipping options.  Want a single yard of fabric or a couple of patterns?  You no longer have to pay for a flat-rate envelope.  You can see our shipping policy and our complete shipping table here.  Please let me know if you have any questions at all.

I’ve only just discovered your blog and the shop – you have some wonderful stuff! And its great to know that you ship internationally, as I live in Australia. For now, I am helplessly drooling at all the beautiful fabrics and projects that you have listed on your blog 🙂 Thank you!

Good news for me! So I can sample a few fat quarters and not spend too many quarters . . . .

Yay for first class shipping rates! One note about the shipping policy page: At the bottom there is a table with examples of product weight and the weights are in pounds. But the weight range for the first class shipping in the shipping table is in ounces. I think it would be helpful if the “example of product weight” table had the weight in pounds and ounces so we don’t have to think too much about the math. 🙂

I think it’s great in these difficult economic times to see how businesses are trying to make it easier to do your shopping, especially on the fun things we really don’t want to have to give up!

I am excited to hear about this. Often times, I’ll see a single cut of fabric that I want, but the shipping will be as much, or more, than the cut. Affordable is always good!

Thank you. That makes a big difference. I wish more companies would offer better shipping options.

Oh please don`t make it again easier to order from your place, I need some money for other stuff like family and food too 😉
Now I only have to do the math and find out how many yards will be per 5 oz etc.

Thank you for the update! I was just trying to figure out how much a yard of fabric would weigh; thank you for not making me take a yard of fabric to the grocery store 😛

I always hated when shipping rates when up but now that they are talking about taking a whole day away of postage, I am ok with the rate increase…
I have to admit I love the forever stamps
