HoJo Space Spores
By Victoria, The Silly BooDilly

This embroidered art quilt measures 8″ x 11″. Victoria writes, “This piece was part of a series of small embroidered art quilts I did featuring made up ‘space spores,’ amoebas, flowers and other shapes. It features machine applique and lots and lots of hand stitched embroidery. The colors were inspired by the old Howard Johnson Restaurant and Motel colors. It is one of three embroidered pieces of mine featured in Quilts, BABY! published by Lark Books.”

If you like the space spores (and how could you not?) you’ll want to check out Victoria’s Embroidered Art Quilt set, and then move onto her additional sets and her shop, The Silly BooDilly.
