Can you keep up?! We have lots more entries to post… Check back often!

Karen from maggie makes entered this Christmas Stocking Tutorial in the Scrap Buster Contest. She writes, “My mother loved to make things special and Christmas was no exception. I still have all the handmade ornaments, the gingerbread men garland and the Mrs. Claus bag that each year held all my presents, but my most cherished item is my stocking. It was colorful, fun and most importantly bigger than my brother’s. (It always brought me pleasure to tease him about this, isn’t that what little sisters are for?) I patterned my stocking after her design and hope others gift their loved ones with something they can cherish for years, just as she did for me.”

  1. I have four handmade stockings made by my aunt that I still use every Christmas. Having personalized items like these are great keepsakes and memories.

Love this! I’ve been meaning to make stockings for my husband and me but hadn’t found a pattern I really loved until now. (We both have handmade stocking from our grandmas but I want to start a tradition together.)

I love it! Stockings are such a nice tradition and it’s great to see them coming back in this age where build half the houses without fireplaces.

  10. Shannon says:

Fabulous! My mother made all of us stockings and as a dedicated quilter, they are all personalized with fabrics meaningful for us (mine has fabrics from my nursery set, mom’s maternity clothes, and a dress she made for me; hubby’s has fabrics from our wedding, etc.). Such a wonderful way to save memories.
