    I love giving baking goodies for X-mas. Last year I made up recipe cards of the cookie recipes I used and tied them up with ribbons and attached vintage cookie cutters to the ribbon ends.
    this year will be homemade candy in a fabric basket.

    I took a look inside the book on amazon and noticed it has a pillow cover pattern. Made me remember how when I was little I used to make pillows. I remember two the best. One for my dad and brother made with lots of love for them to take with them when traveling.

    Aprons! I’m making matching aprons for my mother-in-law, sister-in-law and 6 year old niece. I decided to use a brown denim to make a full apron and I’m accenting it with bright blue and green pears from a novelty cotton I had stashed away. As cute as half aprons are, I find that being short, I need more protection from the full size apron; I suspect my gift recipients will as well.
