Bicycle Ties by Jes, Jes Switaj & Needle in the Eye

Jes cuts, sews and prints all of her ties. She writes, “To me that’s important because most of the other necktie sellers I have come across buy their ties pre-made in bulk and only print the image themselves. I make each of mine myself so I can match colors for special events, adjust to custom measurements, etc. Then I silkscreen each by hand one at a time.”

We love the idea of custom ties for a wedding or special event; here’s a tie pattern you could use if you want to try it out.

Comment in any post this week for your chance to win one of these great prizes: 24 Spool Collection from Coats & Clark; $15 Gift Certificate to Celtic Cloths; $15 gift certificate to Layne James Embroidery and Design; $15 gift certificate to Sew,Mama,Sew!
