I’ve already got a cake topper for my wedding, but I love how birds are becoming a cool modern icon. I want to try to make some!

We had cupcakes and a tiny cake with Wonder Woman and Superman on it. It’s now on one of our many bookshelves in the kitchen. It makes me smile everyday.

My husband collects Legos so nestled in the flowers at the top of our wedding cake were Lego versions of ourselves. I even made a tiny skirt for the Lego bride out of a scrap of my dress from when it had been hemmed.

How sweet! I love the stitching on the wings and tails.

    Love birds!! Aiii-sweetness overload!

We had a beautiful cake made by my Matron of Honor. 3 layers covered in fondant and clear sparkly thingies on three cake stands. We had a Pot Luck wedding Bash at our home (almost 4 years ago.) We were having so much fun with my son’s band playing, visiting with everyone that half the folks were gone before we remembered to even cut the cake!!

  11. Kathleen says:

The are so wonderful. I wish I’d had these when I got married three years ago!

  24. Lina says:

Those birds are so cute! No need to only use them as a cake topper either. They’d be lovely on a wreath.

We went traditional and had flowers on the top of our wedding cake. But I really like the idea of love birds.

Actually, these might be sweet little baby shower attendee gifts! Pink, blue, yellow, green…adorable!

  42. Melissa says:

I didn’t have a formal wedding, so no cake. Hubby and I keep threatening it and if we do, I would love to have a topper like these little birds!

  43. Ramona says:

I just love these birds. So cute!

  44. Jen S. says:

These are ADORABLE!!! I wish I’d found something like these when I got married nearly 8 years ago. Mine was a very generic cake topper from Michaels. Sweet, but nothing creative or original. My hubby’s aunt has a cake-making business. I think she would love these!

  45. Beal says:

These birds are adorable! Wish I’d had them on my wedding cake!
