I’m getting married on May 1st, and although we already have our favors chosen, I think I may sew a few of these to put the bridesmaid presents in…thanks so much for the beautiful inspiration!

Hi again, thanks for all of the wonderful comments. I looked up that wedding to fill you in on your questions. The bridesmaids wore JCrew silk taffeta dresses in tropical aqua. The wedding was on a farm in Vermont. Red was the accent color and the feel of everything leaned a little preppy. The fabric on those clutches is an Amy Butler cotton. It really is a lot of fun to work with brides. I imagined her having a picnic with her bridesmaids in August to prepare for the wedding which was in September, and giving them the clutches out of a basket. That basket sits in my sewing studio, and no, you can’t have it.
    Warm regards,
