Garter by Britt, Scrapyard

This garter was a something blue, made with elastic thread. Here’s a great tutorial for using elastic thread.

    I’ve made a few garters for my friends for their weddings.

    I wore my grandmother’s garter as did my Mom and then my cousin and my sister! But, if I hadn’t had hers, I was all up for making my own. Just think of the tradition you could start making your own to pass down!

    if you can believe it, i went to Haberman’s in Royal Oak, mi and a sales lady told me there was no such thing as elastic thread!

    So I went somewhere else! Happy to see more projects using it :)
