Quilting Month II Board Members

We hope you had a chance to read the interviews with our new board members–Kajsa, Kellie, Rita and Jacquie.  We think they’re some of the most talented and inspiring modern quilters out there and we’re honored that they’ve joined us.  They’ve been busy helping us plan Quilting Month II.  Each of them will contribute at least one post to our lineup of fantastic quilting tutorials, patterns, and inspiration.  We’ll be posting twice a day most days, so you won’t want to miss a thing.  We’ll give you a peek at the calendar this week.

New Fabric

We just received some great fabric from Kaufman.  We ordered Kona solids in neutral shades and restocked our Essex Linen.   We think you’ll find something in our selection that is just right for your quilt sashing and your sewing projects.  Nothing makes a fabulous print pop like a beautiful neutral!

Neutrals from Robert Kaufman

If you’d like to look at the colors first hand (recommended), we’ve put together swatch packs that contain more than 20 3″ swatches of neutral Kona Cottons, Essex Linens and Waterford 100% Linen.  The $4 price includes the cost of shipping.

Free Fabric Friday

Comment here or in any of our board member introductions for your chance to be one of the 6 winners who get to choose a yard of free fabric from the shop.

Have a great weekend!
