Today we have another guest designer for a great quarter pack! Jessica Jones from How About Orange mixed her signature pops of orange with earthy browns and greens in the new Jessica Jones Mix Fat Quarter Packs. Jessica designed the Modern Flora and Amusement Park fabric collections, continues to design some of the cutest ribbon around and she always shares fantastic finds at How About Orange. Jessica is a professional graphic designer, and her blog focuses on design and decorating resources, DIY inspiration and how-tos.Β  (Check out the fantastic tutorials on the left sidebar of her blog and the many links to papercraft downloads!) We’re so happy she’s used her great design sense to put together this sophisticated and colorful mix of prints!

From Jessica:

    It’s probably no secret that I fancy orange, given the name of my blog. And I’m sick to death of winter dragging on, so some peppy citrus hues are desperately needed right now. I plan to stare at this group of fabrics and trick myself into thinking it’s all sunshine, poppies, and green grass outside, instead of the dirty snow that’s actually outside my window.

    I love the mix – very Spring, but where I am – Down Under in Aus we’re moving into Autumn/Fall and I think the fabrics are just as apt for that season too. I have a tiny space I use as my office so I would use these for gorgeous cushions to happy the place up!

    This is a lovely selection; I’m wild about the yellows, greens and oranges together. With this pack, I would make some fun spring purses and wallets. My wardrobe is in need of a few bright spots after so many months of black and gray!

    I would like to make all kinds of crafts such as decoupage a tray and lamp shade. Perhaps I will make on of the fabric vase covers from How about Orange. This is a great collection of fabrics.

    Spring always makes me want to sit on our deck with a good book and a cup of coffee (even if I may still need a sweater). So I’m thinking that some bright, handmade book-covers for myself and my book group would be the perfect project to get into the season. ^_^

    The colours are just beautiful! Perfect to welcome spring…! Although I would be tempted to make a quilt out of them I propably would prefer bags. Some small ones for the evening and bigger ones for the city and work. Just to get all these colours with me! Sun is just coming out and for the first time it is getting warm outside…
