Sewn by Sonji, Soduel

Pattern: Simplicity 2596, Views D & E
Fabric: Dotted Swiss
Trim: Crocheted
Buttons: Vintage

There are more details about Sonji’s top, with links to more pictures, on her Soduel blog. She writes, “The only thing I changed was to use bias tape to finish the neckline instead of the facings the pattern called for… Worked perfectly. The pattern pieces all fit together just as they should and it was a snap to sew. If the elastic waist version is sewn I would suggest sticking to a light weight fabric or one with nice drape.”
