Figgy's Tee for Two Pattern

Patterns by Figgy’s Tee for Two by Kelly Hogaboom

Kelly, whose kids grace the covers of Patterns by Figgy’s Fall 2010 collection, thinks the Tee for Two pattern is fabulous! She adds, “I actually wrote a tutorial (with photos) regarding sewing on knits with a regular sewing machine, and I used the Tee for Two pattern for the tutorial. I find using a stabilizer on knits is an extra step that only takes a little bit of time, but makes knit-sewing far easier.”

We mentioned the Tee for Two pattern with an earlier feature for the Dapper Dillinger Trouser. It’s another modern pattern perfect for school-aged boys or girls, and would look great sewn from any of our new knits!

Tee for Two Figgy's PatternPattern Info: (Raw-edged Raglan for Girls and Boys) All season pattern including a short sleeve & long sleeve options for both Girls and Boys. This is a perfect pattern for the seamster who wants to learn how to work with knit fabrics & create fun, comfortable T-Shirts for their child. Seams on the outside of our slim-fit baseball jersey aren’t just stylish, they’re practical, too. An ultra-smooth interior protects even the most sensitive kid from irritation so he or she can concentrate on what’s important… Having fun!

Flutter sleeves on a dress variation and embellishment ideas will really set your imagination wild! No need to fear knits and no special equipment necessary!
