Smarty Girl Book Bag Pattern

Heather Bailey Smarty Girl Book Bag by Emily, Blue Blossom Girl

Emily made this Smarty Girl Book Bag for 7 year old Ava the day she bought the pattern and loved it. She writes, “I actually delayed buying this pattern for a long time! I have made a lot of tote bags and thought I could just wing it! It was not a difficult pattern, but I was very happy to have the exact directions.” Emily thought the ruffled flap was adorable and knew she couldn’t have sewn it without the clear and easy directions. She loved the finished project and has even made another since then with Heather Ross Mendocino scraps.
