Ice Cream Dress pattern

Oliver + S Ice Cream Dress sewn by Cate Bruce-Low, Tribeca Yummy Mummy

Cate shares amazing, kid-friendly recipes on her Tribeca Yummy Mummy blog, along with her latest sewing projects. We adore her version of the Oliver + S Ice Cream Dress and thought this was another great pattern perfect for those fast-approaching school days. After sewing this pattern a few times, Cate writes, “…It might seem a bit confusing at first, but do each step exactly as it is written in the pattern, and it comes together very nicely. This is the perfect project for a big vintage button! Because you only use one button, you can use something that you find at a thrift store or inherited from your Granny. It adds an extra specialness to your project, an heirloom quality.”
