Please check out this week’s Free Fabric Friday to learn how you can make a difference!

Sis Boom Sophie Tunic sewn by Marnie Peck, Mom 2 Four

Like many of us, Marnie sews in the evenings after the kids are down. She doesn’t consider herself an expert, but she can sew entire outfits in one evening thanks to the clear and uncomplicated instructions found in all Sis Boom patterns including the Sophie Tunic.  Marnie admits that quite often patterns can be frustrating, but sewing the tunic was actually fun! The Sophie Tunic comes in a large size range of 6/12 months to 11/12 years, and is another PDF pattern which you can start sewing right away after you purchase & download the pattern.

Sis Boom Sophie Tunic PDF PatternPattern Info:The Sophie Tunic is a cool, classic top for girls sized 6/12 months to 11/12 years. It is simple to sew, and a great way to showcase stunning fabrics. With a range of sleeve and length options, there are design possibilities for all seasons. A stylish tunic can be worn with jeans or leggings for casual fun, or paired with a pretty skirt for a dressier look. A long tunic makes the perfect cover-up for lounging by the pool or walking on the beach. Three separate sleeve patterns are provided for each size: a short sleeve, a long sleeve, and a cuffed sleeve. The short sleeve has an additional cutting line for cap length. The long and cuffed sleeves have multiple cutting lines to make a range of lengths. The keyhole neckline is finished with a facing, which can be made from a contrasting fabric and placed on outside of the garment. Sweet ribbon ties or a little button/loop fastener can be added as well.
