Our Embroidery on Kids’ Stuff photo pool is full of colorful projects sewn by wide range of ages. We dedicated a whole month to hand sewing last year, but if you still need a little help with design, don’t forget to take a look at the selection of darling patterns from Penguin & Fish in the shop. Here’s a peek at a few of our favorites from the photo pool:

Pillowcase Dress sewn by Em’, Seventeen & Em’

This adorable dress is the first clothing item sewn by Em’. Her grandmother embroidered the pillowcase for her years ago and she’s very happy that she has successfully sewn it into a dress for her daughter.

Embroidered Quilt Label sewn by Georgia McDonald, Stitchlings

On her blog, Georgia shares the “easy-peasy” method she uses to make her unique quilt labels for all the gorgeous quilts she sews.

Megan’s Little Girl Doll sewn by Jenn, Jenne Girle

Jenn used a Wee Wonderfuls Summer Stitchette pattern for this doll which we think is extra special with it’s vintage cotton print and memorable scraps as stuffing.

Something Special Card + Envelope sewn by Carmen, Name Taken

By request, Carmen made another extraordinary card using Jennifer’s tutorial from earlier this year. She notes that the envelope lining is a great way to use up scraps!

Mini Stocking Embroidery sewn by the daughter of Sara Hemmeke, The Domina

Sara’s 8 yr old daughter stitched this sweet angel which is the 2nd of six mini Christmas stockings she’s completed. She’s proud to announce that the next generation of crafters is rising!
