This has been a wonderful project and I think I will never use gift wrap paper again!

Great idea! And I just happen to have an enormous stack of reclaimed fabric set aside for grocery bags. It’s a bit late to start for Xmas (still have to make gifts!) but I was thinking about making a stockpile for all the gift-giving occasions that happen year round. Might as well make a habit out of it!

I am making reusable shopping bags for everyone on my list this year and I am sewing some for other folks to give to the people on their list. I want to be part of the challenge but I’m not on facebook and don’t want to join. How can I be part of the challenge?

For those who take their own bags to the grocery store, what do you put your garbage in? Until I figure that out I continue to repurpose plastic bags under my kitchen sink. I’m super frustrated by this and would love some input. Thanks!

Instead of making bags, I make pillowcases! Tie them with a corded ribbon and attach a Christmas pick. The gift is fun and the bag very functional. Merry Christmas!
