Green Grocery Bag Challenge

spacer I’m putting the finishing touches on my gifts this week and I’m getting ready for the bag-making stage. I hope you are too! Lots of people are getting on board with the Green Grocery Bag Challenge. We wanted to share some of the great links that we’ve seen. (Last week’s links, in case you missed them.)
spacer Benita of Bettsy Kingston has a tutorial for a 5 Minute Reversible Sack. (Now who doesn’t have 5 minutes?) She’s using them to wrap delicious panettone. She includes a great bread machine panettone recipe on her site!
spacer Jan of Daisy Janie created this tutorial for a very clever produce bag with a “cinch-n-carry” tab. Ditch plastic produce bags and make a bundle of these simple yet practical cloth bags!

spacer Tracey of sew.simply.creative has a tutorial for a 10 Minute Gift Bag that has built-in ties.

Join us on The Green Grocery Bag Challenge Facebook page where we’ll continue to post wrapping ideas, sewing patterns and tips for reducing waste this holiday season. You can also join our GGBC Flickr group to share photos of your bags and gifts wrapped in bags.
