Jen Eskridge of ReannaLily Designs has a new book out, Deploy That Fabric: 23 Sewing Projects Use Military Uniforms in Everyday Life, and we’re one of the blog tour stops today!
Jen’s husband was with the US Air Force for 10 years and is currently on Active Duty in the Air National Guard; Jen’s book shows you how to upcycle decommissioned military uniforms to celebrate service members and to make special projects for your family. The book includes 23 projects ranging from baby items and fashion accessories to holiday decor, totes, quilts and more. Jen shows you how to incorporate both uniforms or camouflage fabrics with contemporary fabrics, and all of the projects can also be made exclusively with your favorite prints. You can mix and match to make something special with Jen’s instructions.
