Super cute. I just found a huge bunch of this crochet thread at my local Salvation Army store too. I haven’t crocheted since high school but want to see about learning again. I just bought some hooks over the weekend and yarn as well but sadly, I didn’t have enough money to buy a full set of hooks so I don’t have the tiny ones yet. And of course, the tiny one is what is needed for these adorable little stars. Off to go shopping later this week and get those and stop to see if they have more crochet thread in those bins. I honestly did not buy all of it.

Here is a sewing tutorial with a similar look: http://sewgerman.blogspot.com/2010/11/layered-felt-star-tutorial.html I am probably going to make a few of these this Christmas (although I will have to cut my stars the old-fashioned way!) 🙂

  41. Wendy D. P. says:

    These stars are adorable!

  42. So cute! I added this to my pinboard 🙂

  43. Jess says:

I love the garlands where you just cut shapes out of felt and then sew them together in a line on the machine. I plan to make some for fall and winter this year!

I have a crocheted star garland, too – it has red and green stars but I used a different pattern. I’m thinking I may add to it with felt stars this year, too, to fill it out a little. 🙂

  44. Those are super cute but I can almost guarantee my crochet skills are not good enough for something that small.
