Introducing ~ Jill from Acorn Market

on March 7 | in Contributors | by | with 3 Comments

Jill Myslinski owns a restaurant called Acorn Market in Salisbury, Maryland. Sewing is a way for her to stay creative outside the kitchen, and when she created a cute and functional Kimono Harness for her dog she knew she wanted to share the pattern with other dog lovers. She writes, “I just hope people will try the project and then take their furry friend for a long walk. What better way to spend a lazy afternoon?!” Jill’s Kimono Harness Pattern + Tutorial is coming up next; while you wait you can find more about Jill on the Acorn Market blog.

Salisbury is a really sweet town. I can’t wait to get back there and try Jill’s restaurant. Too bad my dog is a little large and wild for a kimono!

  2. Susan says:

this looks great! I’d love to make one for my sister and niece, both of whom have small dogs. I keep trying new patterns and don’t actually know what kind of “sew-er” I am…clothes, crafts, quilts, cards, bags or whatever!

Jill sounds like a busy, productive, creative woman. I wish her restaurant was on the West Coast–it sounds wonderful.
