Introducing ~ Palak from Make It Handmade

on August 2 | in Contributors | by | with 3 Comments

Palak from Make It Handmade is sharing some of her great serger tips on the blog this week. You can find even more in her serger series running all of August on Strawbazies, where you’ll also find her growing tutorials page. (Raksha Bandhan, a “Hindu celebration of the bond between brother and sisters” is today!– Palak shows you how to make your own Rakhi on her tutorial page.) Palak is up next with the first post of serger tips so stick around!…

I’m Palak and I like to make things. I’ve been sewing, knitting and crocheting since I was a child. Now that I’m a mom of two, I definitely prefer doing quick projects on the sewing machine that can be completed while my kids nap. I love to sew simple, fast, and easy projects in the simplest, fastest and easiest way possible!

I’m a technique junky and enjoy learning new ways to do anything (except housecleaning)! I’ve learned so much from sites like Sew,Mama,Sew! It feels amazing to be invited to give something back!

Update: You can now find Palak’s new tutorial page at Make It Handmade, her new site fully dedicated to sewing.
