Angelique from mrs ptb makes is giving away a Chevron Clutch with a coordinating Business Card/Credit Card Wallet. (Prize value: $55) You can see the full line of mrs ptb makes bags and wallets here, and be sure to check out her additional items including fun things for baby, camera strap covers and more.

Angelique learned to sew when she was eight and then jumped back in as a new mom. The winter hats she made for her son and his new baby cousin were well-loved. She writes, “The hat! The dinosaur hat became a hit. Everyone wanted one, so the shop was officially open for business. My family and friends are my inspiration. Everything in the shop was originally made for someone I adore. I studied graphic design, and still very happily work in that field, but there is something so special to me about making a special gift for someone to love.”

With Fabric and Thread (US Winners Only)

Author: Joanna Figueroa
Publisher: Wiley

Quilting and sewing are joining forces in a way that they never have before. Long-time quilters are starting to experiment with a bit of home sewing or simple sewing for their grandchildren. The younger side of the sewing community is embracing the world of patchwork and quilting. With Fabric & Thread seamlessly bridges the gap between these two crafts and delivers a unique collection of projects that appeal to sewers and quilters alike. Features 20 new projects that marry the nomenclature of both sewing and quilting. Plus, a special section features six patterns that can be accomplished two different ways: one using sewing techniques and one using quilting techniques. The result is two unique looks from a single pattern.
