Janice from Better Off Thread has a great quilt block to share, coming up next. While you wait check out Janice’s beautiful sewing projects and this wonderful collection of quilts. You’re going to love Janice’s upcoming block!

Hello out there! I’m Janice Ryan and I blog over at Better Off Thread. I live in Los Angeles with my husband and two children (Liam, 3 and Emmeline, 20 months), but I was born and raised in Pennsylvania. I’ve been sewing for as long as I can remember (some of my early memories are of my mom and I designing and sewing clothing for my dolls). I hold an MFA in Costume Design from Carnegie Mellon and in my former life (that would be pre-kids) I was a costumer for TV and film. Although I’ve had a long-time love affair with my sewing machine, I didn’t catch the quilting bug until I was pregnant with my son.

In all my free time (ha!), I also enjoy fixing up our 1927 English Tudor home, unapologetically indulging in chick-lit and tracing my family genealogy.
