Hey, guys! My name is Hayley and I blog over at Welcome to the Mouse House, where I chat about sewing, decorating, parenting and crafty goodness. I am a stay-at-home mother to two wonderful kiddos, Ethan and Ainsley, but my nights are spent working on my blog, Facebook page and Etsy shop.
I have been sewing and crafting since I was a small child, but I am always learning new and exciting techniques and I love to push myself to the limits. Not too long ago I competed in a six-week online competition called Project Run and Play, and I ended up winning! It was one of the most rewarding experiences ever.
During that competition, I created an outfit for my daughter that I am especially proud of. Not only did I sew the entire outfit, but I also spent hours (and hours) hand embroidering the tunic top. It will definitely be a keepsake that I plan to carefully store away to be passed down to our grandchildren. (Hopefully, that will be a long time from now, hehe!)
Read more about that outfit here.
I love seeing new faces over at my blog, so come over and say “hi” when you get a chance!
