Rebecca from Sew Festive Handmade shows you how to make a pintuck pillow next! She’s got a fun page of finished projects on her blog. You can also find some tutorials and learn more about Rebecca there too. You won’t want to miss Rebecca’s project!…

Hi, all! I’m Rebecca and I blog over at Sew Festive Handmade about my sewing and quilting misadventures!

I work for an Orlando nonprofit by day and sew furiously with my kitten by my side during any spare moments at night.

I taught myself to sew about four years ago when my mother had a Singer dropped off at my college apartment doorstep. Then I put my machine away for about two years until I discovered the modern quilting world and all the beautiful fabrics that are now available. Since then I’ve steadily filled my second bedroom with fabrics and notions, much to my boyfriend’s amusement!

I love all kinds of quirky sewing, and love to deviate from a pattern. Last year I also started sewing clothing, which led to a recent project in Stitch Summer 2013.

In my free time I like to convince my friends to start sewing (I think I’m wearing some of them down!) and have created some embroidery patterns dedicated to my love of all things Harry Potter!

I love making new sewing friends, so stop by Sew Festive Handmade and say hi.
