Our judges loved all of the Roller Skate dresses in Round Two! Here’s what they had to say about a few of the designs…

Sue from A Colourful Canvas

Julia writes, “You can tell straight away that no part of the design and creation of this dress has been overlooked.. The reversible garment has a flawless construction, a balanced design and a fabric choice that a young girl would love to wear.”

Melissa from Scavenger Hunt

Rochelle writes, “Melissa’s dress is utterly adorable and those pockets are so inventive! I think she executed her ideas beautifully to make a quintessential summer play dress.”

Charise from Charise Creates

Florence writes, “The pocket detail on this dress is gorgeous. If it was in my own childhood wardrobe I’m sure I’d take a memory of wearing it into adulthood with me. The colour choices, wonderful finish and lovely detailing– such as the self-covered buttons and contrast waistband– all made me love this dress.”

Nicole from Nicole at Home

Andrea writes, “Nicole accomplished something major by matching those chevron stripes with French seams, even at the shoulders! This is a dress that a girl of any age would want to wear, because it’s so fun and interesting without being juvenile.”
