GeoCentric Bag Challenge

We have two more bags made with organic GeoCentric II Canvas fabrics to show you today! Our ten participants were given three half-yard cuts of the fabric. They could add a solid color but needed to use at least two of the prints in their bag. It’s the GeoCentric Bag Challenge!

Anjeanette from by Anjeanette made a tote bag with her GeoCentric fabrics. She says she loves a good challenge and had a lot of fun figuring out how she wanted to use her half yards of fabric. The red really pops, doesn’t it?! It looks great next to those grays…

Anjeanette writes,

“I had a lot of fun with the hardware on the bag. I also used some grey webbing top-stitched to the underside of the handles. I did this both for stability and for a little fun detail. The bag is lined with Pellon Shape Flex I think it just adds enough structure to this bag. Inside the bag is a magnetic closure and on one side there are sectioned pockets for my phone and a few other bobs and bits. The fabric is so gorgeous! It is absolutely something I would love to sew with again. “
