GeoCentric Bag Challenge

on August 1 | in Featured Creativity, Products, Sponsors + Partners | by | with 3 Comments

Last month we put a call out to our newsletter subscribers: Do you want to make a beautiful bag with GeoCentric fabric? All week we’ve shown you what ten talented sewists were able to create with GeoCentric Canvas fabrics. The organic GeoCentric II Canvas prints are a continuation of the popular GeoCentric range from Cloud9 Fabrics, and a second run of the canvas collection with new colors and prints.

We are so impressed with each of the bags! Check out Mary’s bag below, and click on the rest of the participants’ names for links to their bags: Kelly, Amanda, Anjeanette, Emily, Stephanie, Melissa, Leah, Sherri and Cherie.

Mary from Mary on Lake Pulaski made the super-popular Super Tote from Noodlehead, with a recessed zipper, piping details, extra pockets and more!

Mary writes,

“This Sew Mama Sew Challenge was so fun. I had three colors, but decided to only use the turquoise and lime along with a natural linen. They worked great together. The only change from the pattern was adding an additional exterior pocket to the bag. My iPad fits perfectly in one side and I wanted to have another exterior pocket for other things.”
