Liberty Pillow Challenge

Have you seen the beautiful Liberty Stile collection? We asked eight readers to use these Liberty Art Fabrics to make a special pillow. Kara of me and elna, Amy from Amy Made That!, Rumi from 3patchcrafts, Hannah of Sew Adorable Fabrics, Deborah from Whipstitch, Kaye of Miss Print, Shanna from Fiber of All Sorts and Beki from artsy-craftsy babe all turned their lovely fabrics into something even more amazing! Here are Rumi and Shanna’s designs:

Shanna used Sew Mama Sew tutorials to create the envelope back and piping for her pillow. She also came up with a tricky (and cost-effective) way to get a large pillow form. Check out Shanna’s tips at Shanna from Fiber of All Sorts.

Rumi from 3patchcrafts designed her new pillow to express her ideas of liberty, and she shares a tutorial on her site so you can make the pillow too. She writes, “I am very proud with hand embroidered LIBERTY on the back…” Learn how to make the pillow and see more photos at 3patchcrafts.
