Every month is sewing month around here, but we love the attention National Sewing Month brings to the craft. Heather at The Sewing Loft has planned a wonderful series in which guest bloggers will be writing about their favorite sewing tools. The month will be full of tutorials and tips for using a wide variety of gadgets. You’re sure to learn some great skills!
Heather invited us to participate, and we thought the most informative and fun thing to do would be to invite YOU to blog about your favorite sewing tool and link up here. When we’re done, we’ll have one handy page to view everyone’s posts about sewing tools. To participate:
- Write about a sewing tool you love on your own blog. It could be something you couldn’t live without or maybe it is somewhat obscure, but handy. It might be something you use every day, or something you only dig out for special projects. Specific pins, certain clips, a brand a thread, a type of spray starch, or your homemade pattern weight. If it makes your sewing life easier, we want to know about it! If possible, include a lesson on how to use the tool if you think it would be helpful.
- When you’re done, come back to this post and add your link with an image.
Be sure to visit The Sewing Loft this month for sewing tool tutorials, plus opportunities to win great prizes!
It might just be a coincidence that National Sewing Month coincides with back-to-school, but I’m going to take it as a great excuse to get back to my machine. Happy National Sewing Month, everyone!
