We have a few more Liberty Pillows to show you from our recent challenge. Members of our contributor community each received a stack of Liberty Stile collection fabrics in the mail with the challenge to make a beautiful pillow! Kara of me and elna, Amy from Amy Made That!, Rumi from 3patchcrafts, Hannah of Sew Adorable Fabrics, Deborah from Whipstitch, Kaye of Miss Print, Shanna from Fiber of All Sorts and Beki from artsy-craftsy babe all made their own gorgeous pillows. Would you like to join the fun with future pattern and fabric challenges? Sign up for our Contributor Community newsletter and/or follow us on Facebook for early info on future projects.
This is the back of Amy’s pillow with a hot pink, exposed zipper! See the front and learn about the tutorial Amy used to create her pillow at Amy Made That!.
Beki from artsy-craftsy babe writes, “First off, I must tell you how absolutely YUMMY this fabric is. I’m hooked. I want more. More, more, more! My biggest challenge was deciding how I was going to show off these lovely prints. I was initially drawn to the darker colored prints because those coordinate best with my home decor, so deciding which ones to use wasn’t too tough.” Beki created a diamond, quilt-inspired design for her pillow, which now graces a newly slip-covered club chair.
Kara shows you how she created her hexagon improv pillow with step-by-step photos at me and elna. You can make one too!
